SCG-SFC Mode


Sydney FC are due to play four matches at the iconic SCG in Season 2018/19. To ensure a thoroughly enjoyable experience, please find below an A-Z guide on patron facilities at the stadium:

ALCOHOL-FREE SEATING

Alcohol-free seating areas are available at all venues. Simply select this option online at Ticketek when purchasing tickets. Bronze Members can also enter this area.

ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR

If patrons are experience any Anti-Social behaviour during matches, patrons have two courses of action: Call/Text 0421 267 567 to report anti-social behaviour or register your report through the SCG app.

ATMs

BABY CHANGING STATIONS

BANNERS AND SIGNS

Banners and flags greater than 1m x 1m must receive special permission to gain entry, contact Sydney FC via email with a photo and description of your banner or flag. Other prohibited items are listed here: SCG.

BIKE RACKS
Moore Park, Centennial Park and the surrounding areas boast some of the most picturesque cycleways in Sydney and is one of the most cycle-friendly public spaces in the city.

Cyclists will find many bike racks in convenient locations along Driver Avenue in Moore Park and all pathways in Moore Park are shared footpath/cycleways.
 

BOTTLES / CANS / OUTSIDE BEVERAGES

Alcoholic beverages, glass bottles, cans or breakable containers are not allowed to be brought into the SCG.

CLOAK ROOM

This service is not available at the SCG.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
You are entering a licensed premises. In caring for safety of all workers, patrons and visitors the Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust (henceforth referred to as 'the Trust') reserves the right to refuse entry or evict:

• Any person who is intoxicated
• Any person deemed to be behaving in a disorderly manner
• Any person that does not have a valid form of entry or who is unauthorised to
be within the premises
• Any person who refuses to submit to security screening upon entering the
premises or inside the premises as directed by an officer of the Trust.

DINING/HOSPITALITY

Sydney FC has various Hospitality options at each ground, click here to check out the various function spaces. Please note, dress regulations may apply.

DISABILITY ACCESS
There are numerous facilities available at both our sporting grounds and the surrounding public amenities ensuring all events are easily accessible and equally enjoyable for all of our patrons.

Public patrons, members and corporate guests can click on the appropriate link below for specific information about ticketing, seating and transport, as well as access into and around the grounds. Toilets, food outlets, bars and other facilities are also highlighted.

Disability facilities - Sydney Cricket Ground 

DROP OFF ZONE
On match days, Driver Avenue is split into two rotating throughfares that provide half access to Driver Ave. Entries are from the North and South end of the street. The recommended location for car drop off for games at the SCG is via the Southern End of Driver Avenue.

EMERGENCY EVACUATION

Should an emergency evacuation be required, please remain calm, listen to ground announcements and following the directions of venue ushers.

FIRST AID
If you require medical assistance at a match, please visit a venue usher and they will direct you to the closest first aid room.

GETTING TO THE STADIUM
The easiest way to access the SCG is by public transport. Moore Park is a 20-minute walk or a short bus ride from Central Station and fans are encouraged to arrive early, allowing plenty of time to enter the venue and find your seat.Please note that special event buses (Route 1) no longer run from Chalmers Street at Central Station. Due to light rail construction, shuttle buses now depart via Eddy Avenue. Return services operate for approximately one hour after each event.All public transport schedule information from surrounding Sydney suburbs is available at Transport NSW or by calling 131500. PARKING
The closest public parking to the SCG are as follows:
EP2 – Accessible via Moore Park Road/Driver Avenue
$25 per vehicle

EP3 – Accessible via Lang Road/Driver Avenue
$25 per vehicle

Entertainment Quarter – Accessible via Lang Road

RESTRICTED ITEMS
Patrons are not permitted to bring the following items into the Sydney Cricket Ground.

• Alcoholic refreshments
• Illicit drugs
• Fireworks, flares or any other explosive device
• Glass bottles, metal containers, aluminium cans or any other breakable
containers
• Offensive weapons such as knives, bladed weapons, laser pointers or
firearms
• Toy or imitation weapons
• Skateboards, scooters, rollerblades or bicycles
• Automated vehicles such as segways, hoverboards or battery powered
transportation devices other than electric wheelchairs
• Dogs or other pets with the exception of guidance or assistance dogs
• Large esky's (that cannot fit under a grandstand seat)
• Any flag poles over 1.5 metres in length or flags/banners over 1 meter x
1 meter in size
• Any flags or banners which contain text or images which the Sydney Cricket
and Sports Ground Trust considers offensive, discriminatory or
intimidating in nature
• Cameras with detachable lenses larger than 200mm (accredited media
excepted)
• Video Cameras and equipment including tripods and sound equipment
(Accredited media excepted)
• Any item which, as deemed by the Sydney Cricket & Sports Ground Trust,
can cause public nuisance or offence (musical instruments, whistles, horns
and/or sirens) to any other patron in the premises

SMOKING
The SCG is a non-smoking venue, pass outs can be collected by ushers on gates. If you are found smoking inside the venue, you will be asked to leave.

STROLLERS
Stroller storage areas are not available at the SCG.

TAXIS & RIDESHARE
There are permanent taxi ranks located in the Entertainment Quarter on Errol Flynn Boulevard (opposite the Hordern Pavilion and another on Moore Park Road opposite the Olympic Hotel.

At present there are no designated Uber or Hire Car zones in the precinct.

UMBRELLAS
Umbrellas may be brought into the SCG but should not be put up if they obstruct the view of others.
