A vastly talented defender hailing from the Central West of New South Wales. Grant’s versatility has seen him play in numerous positions for Sydney FC. A junior Australian representative and a Socceroo, Grant brings physicality to the fold but also a hard working ethos and excellent passing ability. Rhyan Grant is Sydney FC’s longest serving player and most capped player, making his debut in December 2008 and becoming the club’s first 10-year player in 2018. Grant has scored in 3 Grand Finals for Sydney FC, including penalties, winning the title for the Sky Blues in the 2020 Grand Final with a chested effort into the bottom corner where he also picked up the Joe Marston Medal for performance of the match. In his time at the club, Grant has won 4 Championships, 4 Premierships, and two FFA cups as well as being included in the PFA team of the year, 3 seasons in a row.
