Luke Brattan
26 MidfielderMidfielder Luke Brattan has been playing in the A-League for a number of years and has stepped out onto the pitch more than 200 times. He began his career at Brisbane Roar, making his debut in a 1-1 draw with Perth Glory in 2009. Since then, he went on to make 91 appearances for the Queensland side before moving to Melbourne City where he enjoyed further success. Brattan joined Sydney FC in 2019 and instantly became a fan favourite with his distribution and leadership skills. He won the Player of the Year for his efforts in the 2019/20 title winning season. He was hampered during the 2021/22 season after rupturing his ACL in a pre-season FFA Cup clash against Sydney Olympic which saw him observe from the sidelines for the entirety of the season. During the 2023/24 A-League season he became captain of Sydney FC.
