The Last Dance. 2020

The Last Dance is a 2020 American sports documentary miniseries focusing on the 1997–98 Chicago Bulls. The series features film from a crew that had an all-access pass to the Bulls during the National Basketball Association season.

ALF: At the moment I’ve just started Ozark with the Mrs, but I’m also juggling the Last Dance Michael Jordan docco that just came out on the side, because I’m a huge basketball fan. Both are really enjoyable at the moment.

Dead To Me. 2019

Dead to Me is about “a powerful friendship that blossoms between Jen and Judy. Jen is a recently widowed real estate agent trying to come to terms with her loss through therapy, exercise, and other methods. She uses anger and resentment as an outlet for her grief.

ALF: Up next is just powering through Ozark with the Mrs and then I’ll catch up on the second season of You, and then maybe watch the comedy series Dead To Me as well.

 

All time favourite?

Prison Break. 2005

The series revolves around two brothers, Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) and Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller); Burrows has been sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit, and Scofield devises an elaborate plan to help his brother escape prison and clear his name.

Luther. 2010

A dedicated police officer, Luther is obsessive, possessed, and sometimes violent. However, Luther has paid a heavy price for his dedication; he has never been able to prevent himself from being consumed by the darkness of the crimes with which he deals.

ALF: My fave show to tune into is Prison Break, you can never beat that for thrills, especially season one! I also enjoyed always watching Luther in my spare time.
