Two-goal Semi Final star Adam Le Fondre hailed Sydney FC’s "unstoppable" attack in the wake of a 6-1 thumping of Melbourne Victory that put Perth Glory on notice.

The Sky Blues, beaten at the penultimate hurdle by arch-rivals Victory last season, exacted revenge on Sunday as they powered through to a Grand Final berth next Sunday.

A three-goal first half effectively stamped their ticket to Optus Stadium before Le Fondre piled on the pain with a quickfire brace.

It was a stunning showcase of Sydney FC's potential going forward and one the 32-year-old former Premier League forward feels has been a long time coming.

"The team performance was outstanding and for me to score two goals, it's what I'm here to do," Le Fondre told Fox Sports.

"I think we've been threatening this.

"Tonight everything seemed to go for us, everything seemed to click.

"The attacking patterns were more or less unstoppable in the end and our press was suffocating.

"If you get both sides of the game right you're going to win handsomely and that's what we've done."

Attention will turn quickly to toppling Perth on their own patch and Le Fondre, a veteran of two League Two promotion play-offs in England, wants more of the same from Sydney FC.

"We're through to a Grand Final. I'm just looking forward to it and hopefully on the day we put in a similar performance to this," he said.

"We'll see where that takes us."

Milos Ninkovic, who provided the pass for Le Fondre's second and later scored one of his own, can educate his team-mate on the intricacies of the Hyundai A-League's decisive day.

The masterful Serbian playmaker scored the winning penalty in the shootout triumph over Victory two seasons ago and says the Sky Blues know what to expect from Tony Popovic's Glory.

"There isn't some special secret between us," Ninkovic said.

"We've played so many times against each other and we beat them twice this season.

"The Grand Final is a different game and now we have six days to recover and to prepare."
