The Week Ahead: It’s #BigBlue Week!

Here’s your handy guide to what’s in store for Sky Blues across seven days, including #BigBlue week preparations and an away NPL clash on Saturday evening.

 

MONDAY
Sydney FC’s NPL side return to training in an early morning session following their clash on Saturday against the Wollongong Wolves at Lambert Park.

The Sky Blues’ Hyundai A-League squad kick off #BigBlue week with an 11am session at Macquarie University Sports Fields.

Following training the squad have a talk with Channel 10 personality and beyondblue Ambassador Brad McEwan discussing mental health.

TUESDAY
The Sky Blues’ Hyundai A-League squad have Tuesday off to rest and recover before commencing their three-day lead in to Saturday’s clash at the SCG.

Sydney FC’s NPL side enjoy another 8am morning session at Macquarie University Sports Fields

WEDNESDAY
Sydney FC’s Hyundai A-League return to training at 10am at Sky Blues’ HQ as preparations ramp up for Saturday’s massive #BigBlue at the SCG.

The Sky Blues’ NPL side enjoy the day off.

The boys will also spread a bit of cheer in the afternoon as they visit Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, touring the wards and visiting all the kids.

THURSDAY
The NPL squads return to training at 8am as their preparations for Saturday away clash against Mt. Druitt commence.

Sydney FC’s Hyundai A-League squad continue their build-up to Saturday’s #BigBlue at the SCG with another 11am training session at Macquarie University Sports Fields.

Off the pitch the Sky Blues will host their second Sydney FC in Business Lunch of the season at The Star, Sydney – a perfect event to network with likeminded businesses and partners of the Sky Blues.

FRIDAY
It’s matchday -1 for both squads.

Preparations are finalised for the Sky Blues’ Hyundai A-League squad, as they fine tune everything in another 11am session ahead of Saturday’s #BigBlue at the SCG.

The NPL side also go through their paces in their final training session before matchday with another early morning session.

SATURDAY
It’s GAME DAY!

The biggest of Big Blues takes centre stage at the Sydney Cricket Ground from 7:50pm in a clash that will have massive implications on the league’s final standings – be there to back your Sky Blues!

The Sky Blues’ NPL side take on Mt. Druitt Rangers at Popondetta Park at 7pm. Tune in to Football NSW’s channels for a live stream.

SUNDAY
The Sky Blues’ Hyundai A-League squad will go through a recovery session at Macquarie University Sports Fields following their exertions on Saturday night.

Sydney FC’s NPL sides enjoy a day off to recover following their Saturday night clash.
