Sydney FC and The Cove are nominated for a host of accolades at this years’ Football Fans Downunder 2015 Awards as the Sky Blues stellar season shows no signs of abating.
Following record numbers at the Holiday Clinics throughout 2014 and 2015, coupled with the growing success of Sydney FC’s Junior Blues program, the Sky Blues have been nominated as the Community Club of the Year in recognition of the tireless effort of the entire community department.
Sydney FC’s supporter’s club website SFCU.com.au is up for nomination again as Australian Supporters Club Website of the Year, with the domain having won three out of the previous four awards.
The Cove’s annual fundraiser, another previous FFDU awards winner, is also in contention for the Supporters Club Event of the Year and following a remarkable season in front of goal, Marquee Marc Janko is in contention for FFDU A-League Footballer of the Year.
