Teresa Polias is a talented, industrious and creative midfielder who has represented Sydney FC since 2010. In total, Polias has chalked up over 50 caps for the Sky Blues and was voted Player of the Year by her peers for the Westfield W-League 2011/12 season. The 25 year old was an integral member of Sydney FC’s 2012/13 Championship winning squad, playing every minute of every match. Polias is also a capped Matilda, having played for the national team since 2007 and was a member for the Matildas FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 squad. Polias was handed the captaincy of the Sky Blues in 2014 and continues to lead the Sydney FC under Head Coach Daniel Barrett.
