Today we’re looking at the impressive midfield stats of Westfield W-League Captain Teresa Polias.
Captain for the past five seasons, Polias continued to lead the Sky Blues with aplomb and guided the squad to another Grand Final appearance in Season 2019/20, starting every match of the season.
Polias was an instrumental figure in the Sky Blues’ midfield, finishing the season with an 80.6% passing accuracy, while playing 24 key passes, earning two assists and making 10 crosses from open play.
Tasked with also tracking back in defence, Polias won 15 of her 21 attempted tackles, made 38 interceptions, 13 clearances and seven blocks.
