Today we’re looking at the solid defensive stats of star Westfield W-League youngster Angelique Hristodoulou.
Season 2019/20 was a breakthrough season for Hristodoulou, as the 18 year old missed only two games all season, cementing her spot on the right side of defence.
The youngster made 28 clearances, four blocks and 31 interceptions, while also winning 31 tackles in a series of industrious performances.
Hristodoulou won over 50% of both her duels and aerial duels, and was also a constant presence going forward on the attack.
Going forward, the Young Matildas made 12 key passes, bagging two assists, and also made a whopping 42 crosses from open play.
