With only a single game played splitting the pair, the stats show a stark contrast in the types of striker each side has at their disposal.

Le Fondre’s lethality in front of goal can’t be underestimated, with the Englishman scoring 17 goals from his 28 shots on target compared to Ball’s six goals from 23 shots on target.

Indeed, Le Fondre’s conversion rate is an enviable one at 32.1%, with the Sky Blues only one goal away from the top of the Golden Boot chart.

Holding the ball up with aplomb, David Ball boasts a higher number of assists and greater passing accuracy, while it’s Le Fondre who’s played more key passes is a show of his contribution to the Sky Blues’ attack.

It’s sure to be an entertaining encounter next month, with these strikers sure to play their part in deciding where the points will be returning to.
