Sydney FC and Study NSW’s project Learn, Earn & Thrive has kicked off, with six students from three universities appointed to the club for the next few months to assist in the rollout of the events within the program.

The students from University of NSW, Macquarie University and University of Wollongong will develop and execute plans, which will provide real-world business experience for the students in their areas of study, more specifically: events management and media & marketing.

Mentored by three team leaders from Sydney FC, the students will be involved in mini-project groups in order to deliver two events per university; a social development day for students, followed by a coach education session to up-skill university students looking for casual employment whilst studying and beyond.

The partnership with Study NSW is aligned with the Club’s community engagement strategy which seeks to develop closer community ties than ever before, and is co-funded by the NSW Government.
