Sydney FC-s adidas School Holiday Clinics are set to reach a new milestone next week, with a record number of children taking part in our January courses, and even more places still available.
More than 120 kids are already signed up to the 3 day clinic easily beating the previous record of 69, with the remaining 25 places expected to be claimed before Friday-s 2pm deadline.
“We are absolutely delighted with the response we keep getting to our adidas holiday clinics, particularly this time as it is not yet junior football season,” said Community Officer and Clinics Organiser Daniel Barrett.
“Many of the children are returning for their third or fourth clinic which goes to show what a great time they have.”
The youngsters will be taught skills and techniques, positioning and tactical awareness by Sydney FC-s High Performance Youth Team Coaches.
They will also get an exclusive meet and greet with the entire Sydney FC first team squad after one of the sessions.
“To have Frank Farina and the whole of the first team squad-s backing is marvellous and just goes to show the importance the club puts on youth development and having players as role models,” added Dan.
“The most improved players over the three days will be invited back for an extra day of training on the Friday and will receive on-going monitoring from our National Youth League coaches.
The deadline to register for the final places is 2pm, this Friday 18th January subject to availability.
