Sydney FC’s 2010/11 season draw announced

Sydney FC is proud to announce its fixture list for the 2010/11 Hyundai A-League season which is headlined by a Round 1 against Melbourne Victory

Sydney FC is proud to announce its fixture list for the 2010/11 Hyundai A-League season which is headlined by a Round 1 Grand Final replay against Melbourne Victory at the SFS on Saturday 7 August 2010.

The Sky Blues will play 15 home games at the Sydney Football Stadium this season featuring six Saturday night matches, four Sunday evening games as well as three midweek matches, a Thursday showdown against Melbourne Heart on 23 December and a Monday night match against Adelaide United on 4 October 2010.

The club will also feature in the A-League’s first ever double header when the Mariners host Perth and the Sky Blues play Brisbane Roar at the SFS on Saturday 30 October.

Sydney FC’s first away match is against the North Queensland Fury on Saturday 14 August while the club’s highly anticipated first ever match against new franchise Melbourne Heart will be on Saturday 27 November 2010 at AAMI Park.

The Sky Blues will return to the scene of last seasons stunning Grand Final win when they take-on the Victory at Etihad Stadium on Saturday 16 October 2010.

The team will also have two weekend breaks during the season, the first during week 7 and the second during week 19.

Sydney FC will also be playing EPL side Everton at ANZ Stadium on Saturday 10 July with the club set to announce further preseason fixtures in the coming days.
