Sydney FC’s players will promote healthy eating in a series of cooking videos having teamed up with leading fruit and vegetable wholesaler Gourmand Providore for the remainder of the Hyundai A-League 2014/15 season.
Gourmand Providore are market leaders in the fruit and vegetable industry and will help the Sky Blues send the message about the benefits of a healthy diet.
Sky Blues stars will appear in a series of video cooking segments, filmed in a variety of locations with Gourmand Providore, and will show off the ingredients that go into a healthy meal and how to prepare one.
Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Tony Pignata welcomed Gourmand Providore on board and is pleased to be working with a company who support healthy eating in the same vein as the Sky Blues.
“At Sydney FC we pride ourselves on advocating healthy eating,” Pignata said.
“I’m pleased to be aligning with Gourmand Providore and I’m hopeful of successful relationship.”
Dean Upston, General Manager of Gourmand Providore, said he was pleased to be siding with Sky Blues and is looking forward to working alongside Sydney FC players for a common goal.
