Sydney FC not only took all three points after defeating Melbourne Victory 1-0 at Allianz Stadium on Saturday night but the Sky Blues also won the inaugural beyondblue Cup.

The beyondblue Cup was the centrepiece of Sydney FC-s Community Partnership with beyondblue and helped raise awareness of depression and anxiety.

Allianz Stadium was a Sea of Blue for the clash as both teams walked onto the arena on blue carpet, the corner flags were blue and the ball kids and players mascots all proudly wore the beyondblue shirts.

Before warming up for the match, the Sydney FC players came together for a photo in beyondblue caps, a further sign of Sydney FC-s passion for helping raise awareness for its Community Partners.

The beyondblue Cup will be an annual event when Sydney FC meets Melbourne Victory at Allianz Stadium.
