Sydney FC Members and fans will be able to watch the Sydney FC squad receive its 2012/13 shirts at a fan celebration at Allianz Stadium on Sunday.

The entire squad will be presented to the crowd with their playing shirt after a public training session.

Alessandro Del Piero, Brett Emerton and Terry McFlynn will lead the Sydney FC team onto stage at an event organised to give Sydney FC fans the opportunity to get up close and personal with the players before the start of what is promising to be one of the most exciting in A-League history.

“There-s no doubt that we have had a tremendous lift in recent days with Alessandro Del Piero joining Sydney FC and we think it-s appropriate that we share the special moments with the Sydney FC Members and fans,” said Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Tony Pignata. “Allianz Stadium is our home and it will be nice to see the Members and fans there to see all of the Sydney FC team receive their shirts for the 2012/13 season.

“It is a great opportunity for our fans to come along, watch the team train and then see Alessandro Del Piero, Brett Emerton, Terry McFlynn, Pascal Bosschaart and all of the Sydney FC stars receive their shirt.”

The Sydney FC squad will train at 10am with the Sky Blues players to be presented with their shirts after training.

Sydney FC has also had to make some adjustments to its pre season program following the unavailability of Budgewoi Sports Ground for Saturday-s proposed match.

The Sydney FC v Newcastle match, due to be played on Saturday has been cancelled, but Sydney FC will now play the Central Coast Mariners in a behind closed doors friendly next Wednesday at Allianz Stadium.
