Being hosted on Tuesday the 21st, Wednesday the 22nd and Thursday the 23rd the clinics will run from 9am until 12pm and will see the children put through their paces by coaches from Sydney FC-s Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League teams.
Former Socceroo and Sydney FC midfielder Paul Reid will be overseeing the sessions and said it-s a clinic the children won-t forget in a hurry.
“From my experience in running the clinics, the kids meet lots of new friends and not only improve as footballers, but they also gain more confidence in themselves,” Reid said.
“The kids will have lots of fun learning new skills from the coaches that all have many years of football experience, whether it be as a player in the A-League or W-League, and/or as a coach.”
As part of the clinic each participant receives a new training kit, adidas ball and a free Sydney FC Junior Blues Membership as well as the chance to watch the squad train, and attend the home match against Adelaide United at Allianz Stadium (kick off 7:45pm).
“Apart from having lots of fun playing football during the clinic, the kids will get the opportunity to watch the Sydney FC Hyundai A-League squad train on one of the days.
“They will also be given a ticket to the Sydney FC vs Adelaide United game on Saturday, 8th February, 2014 at Allianz Stadium.
“Another day which is always very exciting for the kids and their parents is the day that they get to meet the Sydney FC A-League squad for some autographs and photos,” Reid continued.
“This will occur on Wednesday, 22nd January and I am sure that the kids will remember this day for the rest of their lives.”
The Sydney FC adidas Holiday Clinics are into their sixth year and is hosted for boys and girls aged 5-13 years of age and are suitable for footballers of all skill levels.
The clinic costs $165 including GST for the three days.
