Sydney FC Enter One-Year W-League Partnership With The Star, Sydney

Sydney FC are delighted to announce a one-year Westfield W-League partnership with The Star Sydney.

The announcement will extend Sydney FC’s partnership with the five-star luxury hotel and entertainment complex to sit across both the men’s Hyundai A-League and women’s Westfield W-League squads for the 2018/19 seasons.

The Star Sydney logo will appear on the front of both the men’s and women’s home, away and alternate strips beginning with this week’s blockbuster double against cross city rivals Western Sydney Wanderers. 

Sydney FC Chief Executive Danny Townsend said: “I am delighted to be extending our successful partnership with The Star Sydney to now include our W-League team. 

“The Star Sydney is a premium and iconic brand which aligns well with Australia’s premier football club. 

“At Sydney FC we strive for excellence and our aim is to entertain with first class performances on and off the field.  These are goals which are central to The Star Sydney as a world class entertainment complex.

“We have already enjoyed a highly successful relationship due to our A-League partnership and we now look forward to added success with our W-League squad.”

Sydney FC’s W-League campaign opens the season kicking off on Thursday night at Marconi Stadium against the Western Sydney Wanderers before the two Hyundai A-League sides clash in the first football match for over 30 years at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday night.
