One of Sydney FC’s foundation shareholders is in the running for one Australian racing’s most prestigious positions.
Director and Board Member Michael Crismale has been a Sky Blues fan since day one and is a regular at Sydney FC games each season.
Next week he will seek to be re-elected as the Australian Turf Club’s Chairman for the next four years, after nine months in the post following the resignation of the previous Chairman John Cornish.
“It would be an honour and a privilege to be elected by the members of the Australian Turf Club to be their Chairman for another four years,” said Crismale.
“My passion for football and for racing runs deep and I’d love to be able to continue to use my influence in both spheres to help develop and grow these sports.
“My determination is to embrace change and reward member loyalty and I want to be able to make a real difference.”
Michael is a Chartered Accountant with a strong background in corporate and small business advice. He is currently the Executive Chairman, President and CEO of Matrium Technologies (a leading supplier of network test solutions), Executive Chairman of Matrium Financial Services (a financial planning and advice company) and Executive Chairman of Matrium Advisory (a business planning service for small to medium sized businesses).
The election takes place next Thursday 27th November.
