Sydney FC And Telstra Sign Statistics Partnership

Today, Sydney FC and Telstra announced the signing of a three year partnership which will see Telstra become the Sky Blues official Telecommunications and Statistics Partner until June 2017.

Striker Bernie Ibini will become Telstra’s first official Sydney FC player ambassador and the club will also work closely with Telstra to provide members and fans with Sky Blues statistics.

Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Tony Pignata is delighted to be aligning with Australia’s leading telecommunications provider.

“We have a strong digital presence in the online and telecommunications arena and we are hopeful this partnership will be of great benefit to everyone, including our members.”

Matthew McCann, Telstra General Manager of Media and Sponsorships said Telstra is already a major supporter of the Socceroos, Westfield Matildas, Foxtel A-League All Stars, Hyundai A-League, Westfield W-League & Westfield FFA Cup competitions and this new partnership cements our commitment to the code.

“Sydney FC has a large digital footprint and fan base and we look forward to working with them to expand the sport and connect fans with the game they love,” said Mr McCann.

Sydney FC’s next home game is on Saturday 4 April as the Sky Blues host Adelaide United at Allianz Stadium in their last home match of the regular season.
