In celebration of our upcoming new look home jersey, Sydney FC-s Strip Search competition is back and bigger than before.
Starting on Monday July 14 and running for four consecutive nights, we are sending Members and fans on a Strip Search 2.0 around Sydney. Four players will be hidden in the North, South, East and West of the city and it-s your mission to be the first to find the Sky Blues star for your chance to win the new look jersey.
Each night our Members and fans will be given an hour to find our hidden player and the jersey, following cryptic clues on Sydney FC-s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram from 5.30pm – 6.30pm.
You will need to be following Sydney FC-s social media outlets for any sneaky clues that we might leak throughout the day and keep a sharp eye out as the hiding player may also be posting some location shots on their Twitter & Instagram accounts using the hashtag #SFCSS2.
Be sure to follow the hashtag #SFCSS2 to stay up to date with all the unfolding hints and tips from both Sydney FC and Members and fans who might know where the jersey is hiding.
In addition to unveiling the new strip we will officially welcome our new back of shirt sponsor StarTrack, new sleeve sponsor Beechwood Homes and welcome back our front of shirt sponsor Webjet.
Nick Kalavrithinos, a winner from last seasons- Strip Search competition, said he enjoyed the experience last year and had some words of advice to those entering the competition this season.
“It was fun, it was really exciting,” he said.
“It was a lot of fun running around and it got the adrenaline pumping and overall it was a good experience.
“I-d say to those entering this year to have some help. While I was driving around I had some people at home that I was on the phone with giving me tips and directing me so a bit of help worked out very well,” he continued.
“I entered last year because it was all over Facebook. I thought about how great it would be to win, and I was lucky enough to get it.”
