Another Championship winning Hyundai A-League campaign for Josh Brillante and another Socceroos call up for the Sky Blues’ midfielder.
Brillante claimed his second Championship following a solid season anchoring Sydney FC’s midfield and his call up sees him return to the national team fold for the first time since his preliminary selection in the extended 2018 World Cup squad.

Playing 27 games this season, Brillante ended 2018/19 with an 85.1% pass success rate, playing 1,500 successful passes and making a 66.4 passes per 90 minutes of action.
Brillante’s passes created 16 opportunities on goal, with the midfielder earn three assists for his efforts.
In defence, Brillante made 55 clearances, nine blocks and 45 interceptions, ending the season with a 69.2% tackle success rate.
