The Sky Blues have eight friendlies scheduled against State League opposition across Sydney over the coming weeks and the high level of interest in the opening match is a great sign for the side, which is preparing to throw down a strong challenge for the 2009/10 Hyundai A-League title.

Following this week-s clash in front of more than 3,000 fans at Lynwood Park, Sydney FC-s next friendly is set down for next Wednesday (May 20) against perennial Premier League powerhouse, Bankstown, with tickets available from the State League club.

Entry to the Jensen Park contest will be $5.00 for adults, with more information available on the Bankstown City Lions- website.
