Summary

Sydney FC 3 (Ledbrook 45’ + 2’, Polias 64’, Siemsen 90’ + 1’) def. Melbourne City FC 2 (Ralston OG 43’, Crummer 53’)

The Sky Blues have secured their first win of the season in thrilling fashion against Melbourne City, coming out 3-2 victors with a last minute Remy Siemsen strike.

The Sky Blues produced their best performance this season to gain all three points despite having a goal in each half disallowed.

That followed an unlucky own goal from Ralston which opened the scoring for the opposition while two stunning goals from Ledbrook and Polias drew Sydney level twice.

The game looked to be heading for a draw until the Sky Blues secured a late winner thanks to substitute Remy Siemsen, sending the Sky Blues into raptures.
