Sydney FC Captain Alex Brosque has welcomed the addition of the latest member of the Sky Blues family, with wife Nadia giving birth to daughter Mikayla on Monday morning.
Weighing 2.75kg Mikayla is Brosque’s third daughter after Christina (7) and Mila (3), and the Sydney FC Captain said he was overjoyed with the arrival and paid testament to his wife.
“I’m very proud to be a father for the third time,” Brosque said.
“I’m even more proud of my wife and everything she went through for our special little girl.”
With his daughters arrival Brosque will miss Sydney FC’s Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32 encounter away against Darwin Rovers FC, however the Captain said he’ll be watching the club’s first competitive match of 2017/18 and is confident of progression in the Cup.
“I can’t wait to watch the boys win our match up in Darwin with little Mikayla,” he said.
“It’ll cap of a great week.”
