Details for Sydney FC’s Westfield FFA Cup Semi Final clash against Canberra Olympic have today been confirmed.
The Sky Blues will face 2016 fairytale story Canberra Olympic, the last remaining Member Federation club, away from home on Wednesday 19 October.
The match will be played at Viking Park in the Canberra suburb of Wanniassa, the same venue that saw a crowd of 5,150 watch Tuggeranong United take on Melbourne Victory in the Round of 16 in 2014.
Considering Canberra Olympic’s Cinderella run to the Semi Finals and the prospect of Sydney FC coming to the nation’s capital with a spot in the Westfield FFA Cup decider on the line, an even bigger turn out is expected for this David against Goliath Cup tie.
