Sydney FC has booked themselves a semi final on home turf at Aussie Stadium after fighting out a scoreless draw in their round robin Hyundai A-League Pre-Season Cup match against Queensland Roar at Barlow Park in Cairns.
Sydney FC has booked themselves a semi final on home turf at Aussie Stadium after fighting out a scoreless draw in their round robin Hyundai A-League Pre-Season Cup match against Queensland Roar at Barlow Park in Cairns.
The draw earned Sydney FC a point to leave them alone on top of Group B with seven points from three round robin matches, one point ahead of the Central Coast Mariners.
The result also keeps alive Sydney FC-s unbeaten streak that now stands at a lofty 18 games.
In a match that flowed from end to end both teams had chances to snatch victory but were unable to get through some valiant defense.
Importantly Sydney FC suffered no serious injuries in the clash and will now turn their attention to their semi final at Aussie Stadium on Sunday August 14 against an opponent to be determined.
Kick off will be at 5:00pm with gates opening at 3:30pm
