Fresh from showcasing her talent on the world stage with the Westfield Matildas in Vietnam, we look back at the 2013/14 season that was for Sydney FC-s Sam Kerr.

The Fremantle born winger made 12 appearances for the Sky Blues this season, 11 of those came as starts with only one appearance off the bench, as she racked up 958 minutes of match time for the Sky Blue Ladies.

Kerr-s prowess in front of goal has always been a defining factor of her game and she showcased it yet again this season with four goals from her position on the right flank, including the opening goal in the Sky Blues 4-3 Sydney Derby victory.

Not only has Kerr proved a vital member of the Sydney FC set up, she has also been an influential member for the Matildas chipping in with some key strikes including the only goal for the national side in the 2010 AFC Asian Cup Final that Australia eventually won on penalties.

In total, Kerr has represented the Matildas on 18 occasions, scoring three goals.

Kerr has also tasted success at club level as she was an integral member of the Sky Blues squad that claimed the 2012/13 Westfield W-League Premiership, again displaying her goal scoring instinct with a neatly taken header in the second half to put Sydney FC in the lead, celebrating with her now famous forward flip!
