Seb Ryall was all smiles today after the chipped tooth he picked up in Sydney FC-s 3-2 triumph over Melbourne Victory was repaired at the dentists.

Ryall played an integral part in the Sky Blues win, but was injured after scoring Sydney FC-s second goal on the night when Adama Traore-s clearing header smashed into his face and then into the net.

“I split my tooth in half,” said Ryall.

“I went a saw the dentist yesterday and was pretty lucky that he could fix it all up.

“At the time the tooth was chipped in half but I-m happy now that it-s all fixed.

“To come back on with a broken tooth and a busted up nose was quite tough but we needed the win, it was very important to us.”

Ryall was pleased to score against his former club despite the injury, and said he would take any opportunity he could to score for the Sky Blues.

“It was a once in a lifetime chance with the ball hitting me in the face and at the time it was a bit of a shock.

“It-s always good to score against them. I didn-t really have a chance to celebrate the goal, I didn-t know too much about it but as a defender you take any goal you can get.”
