As you may be aware Football Federation Australia (FFA) has announced measures to enhance and protect the unique atmosphere created by active supporters at Hyundai A-League matches.
As you may be aware Football Federation Australia (FFA) has announced measures to enhance and protect the unique atmosphere created by active supporters at Hyundai A-League matches.
A key component of the new measures is a Membership only area for all home club active supporter areas, i.e. The Cove, for the upcoming Hyundai A-League 2014/15 season.
In response to these measures, Sydney FC will be making some changes to our Membership and ticketing arrangements. Bays 21 and 27 will now become Bronze Membership and ticketed areas and will be general admission seating. This will allow any fans wishing to come to games on a match by match basis to still enjoy the viewing experience and the atmosphere behind the goal.
Bays 22, 23 and 26 will remain as Cove areas, however as stated in the new measures they will be ‘Membership only- areas.
Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Tony Pignata said: “Active support is one of the highlights of our game. The Cove creates a unique atmosphere at Sydney FC home matches.
“They have been with us for ten years and are the best and most passionate supporters in the country and we will work together with them on this.”
