Ivan Necevski will be continuing his links with the Sky Blues with the shot stopper set to put budding goalkeepers through their paces at the upcoming Sydney FC Holiday Clinics over the June/July break.

The 35 year old glovesman, whose final game with the Sky Blues came against Tottenham Hotspur in May, will host an exclusive goalkeeping session across all three days of the Sydney FC’s clinics at Macquarie University and Campbell Park running from 1:30pm until 3pm.

Necevski said he can’t wait to get started and said was looking forward to giving back to grassroots football.

“I’m excited to announce that I will be helping as a coach at the upcoming Sydney FC School Holiday Clinics,” he said.

“It will be great to attend to see all the kids ready to have fun and learn. I’ll be doing goalkeeping coaching for the young budding goalkeepers out there, and I will also lend a hand in other coaching areas during too.

“It’s always been a great passion of mine working with grassroots football and to pass on the knowledge and experience I have picked up during my time as a professional footballer to these young players and keepers is great.”

Sydney FC Holiday Clinics are led by ex-Socceroo and Sydney FC player Paul Reid with assistance from skilled coaching staff to improve the technical ability of all participants. Registrations are open now.
