Mixing it with the Best in the West

After back to back losses against Gold Coast United and the North Queensland Fury, Sunday can-t come quick enough for Sydney FC, as they will look to get their season back on track when they host the Newcastle Jets at the Sydney Football Stadium.

Prior to last week-s encounter with ‘God-s Fury- the MBF Community Football Team continued their ongoing schools program with several visits in the Bankstown and Blacktown regions. As a result, Sydney FC would like to extend its appreciation to Panania North, Seven Hills West, Homebush West and Kings Langley Public Schools, whose exceptional behaviour and participation made the visits most enjoyable for the MBF Community Football Officers, Brendan Renaud and Ryan Walsh.

“The school on a whole should be congratulated, as the children were outstanding”, said Renaud of his time at Kings Langley. Walsh was just as impressed with his favourite school of the week, “Panania North was a good school, the kids were well behaved which always makes the visit more enjoyable”.

Just a reminder, places are filling fast for Sydney FC-s October School Holiday Clinics where children aged 6 – 12 will learn skills from some of Sydney’s best coaches all at the clubs official training ground of Macquarie University. Each participant will also have the opportunity to meet some of Sydney FC-s biggest stars and get their Sydney FC holiday clinic jersey autographed by their favourite player.
