Renowned for his distribution, Milos Dimitrijevic again showcased his array of passing talents and close ball control during the Hyundai A-League 2015/16 season.
Making 1057 passes over the 25 games he featured in, Dimitrijevic finished the season with a passing accuracy of 87%, averaging 62.38 passes per 90 minutes.
With only 12% of Dimitrijevic’s passes played long, it was the short passing game where the Serbian midfielder excelled, as he created 24 chances for his teammates when in an advanced position.
Often deployed in a deeper lying holding role, Dimitrijevic was equally adept at the defensive side of his game.
The Sky Blues’ number eight made a total of 34 tackles for a tackle completion rate of 82%, while also clearing the ball on seven occasions and shutting down opposing attacks with 25 interceptions.
With pre-season training now underway, Dimitrijevic will be hoping for a renewed title challenge during the Hyundai A-League 2016/17 season.
