The Foxtel Y-League 2020 Grand Final is set for this Friday night at Netsrata Jubilee Stadium (kick off 4:30pm AEDT) as your Young Sky Blues look to create more history when they take on Melbourne Victory.

The Young Sky Blues have already broken records in a stellar campaign as they topped Conference B in an undefeated season, the first time a side has achieved this in the Foxtel
Y-League.

With five wins and three draws in eight games, Sydney FC took out the Premiership with a one-all draw against Western Sydney in round seven, putting the title beyond reach of second placed Central Coast Mariners.

The impressive statistics continue when they amassed a whopping 37 goals in the eight games whilst only conceding 15.

As for their opponents, Victory topped Conference A with a 4-1 win over Adelaide United in the last game of the season to secure their spot in the Grand Final.

Victory finished on 16 points; picking up five wins, one draw and two losses to enter their first Foxtel Y-League Grand Final.

Both teams pose clinical attacking players with Sydney FC’s own Marco Tilio taking out the 2019/2020 Golden Boot where he finished with nine goals. Victory’s Luis Lawrie-Lattanzio and Sydney FC’s Jaiden Kucharski ended in equal third with seven goals a-piece.

Tilio credits his teams fine form to the connection he has to the senior Hyundai A-League Squad.

“Seeing the likes of [Adam] Le Fondre, Kosta Barbarouses and [Milos] Ninkovic and learning off these guys every day really helps my game.

“We look up to those boys and when we come down to train with the NYL [National Youth League] team they look to work off us as well,” he said.

“Everyone lives for Grand Final’s and I’m hoping to get onto the scoresheet to help my team win.

“But we’re there to work hard for each other on the day and get the job done on Friday night,” Tilio added.
