A player who needs no introduction to Sydney FC fans, Kyah Simon returned to Sydney FC at the start of the Westfield W-League 2014 season. Simon previously played for Sydney FC from 2009 until 2012, winning two Championships and one Premiership and a number of personal accolades including the W-League Player of the Year, W-League Young Player of the Year and W-League PLayers’ Player of the Year. A fully fledged Matilda, Simon was a member of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 squad, scoring 3 goals in 5 matches, including perhaps the team’s most famous goal against Brazil in the round of 16 clash. Simon will once again represent Sydney FC in the Westfield W-League 2015/16 season following a spell in the NSWL with the Boston Breakers.
