Sydney FC-s returning Premiership player Karol Kisel has called on the Sydney FC fans to get to the Sydney Football Stadium on Saturday night to watch the Sky Blues end Brisbane-s Roar-s glorious 29-game unbeaten run.

Kisel is expected to make his return from a calf injury in Sydney FC-s first home game of the season and will walk back onto the pitch at the Sydney Football Stadium with fond memories of his first stint when he helped Sydney FC win the Premiership/Championship double in 2009/10.

“I love the atmosphere here so I can-t wait,” Kisel said before training at the SFS on Thursday afternoon. “I can remember the atmosphere at the last home game when we won the Championship against Melbourne Victory (in 2009/10) and it was incredible.

“I think it-s always good. It-s the first home game, Brett (Emerton) is back so it-s perfect for the fans. The Champions are coming and it-s a big challenge so it-s a great game for a start and I hope we will get a good crowd and we will entertain.

“I am really looking forward to the game and I am pretty confident that we can end their series (of 29 games unbeaten).”

“The way they (Brisbane) are playing, I really love this kind of football but that-s a big challenge for us, especially when a team wants to play football.

“That-s what I like (brand of football) so we can play as well and it can be a really entertaining match for the spectators.

The Sydney FC v Brisbane Roar clash kicks off at 7.45pm at the Sydney Football Stadium on Saturday night.
