Goalkeeper Vedran Janjetovic believes the trip to Perth is up there with the hardest in the A-League but also has faith the Sky Blues can come home with the points.

The Sydney FC custodian makes his second trip of the season to WA but is confident of a win.

“Perth is one of the hardest trips without a doubt but we-re going to go there with a good mindset and hopefully come away with the three points that we need,” he said.

“In this league week in, week out everything is different with different results. Perth beat Central Coast which shows everything is possible on the day but that-s just how this league is.”

Sydney are in a tight race to make the finals with five games to go and only two spots up for grabs, and it-s a challenge the Sky Blues keeper is looking forward to.

“Every game is pretty much a Grand Final and every player has to put in,” he continued. “We need the points to make the finals and it-s going to be hard work.”

Watch Alessandro’s first game at Allianz Stadium since renewing his contract and the Socceroos captain Lucas Neill’s home debut for Sydney FC against the current league leaders Central Coast Mariners on Saturday 9th March (kick off 5.30pm).
