With just 10 points separating 2nd to 9th on the ladder the centre half knows just how crucial a win would be.
“Every game is vital for us now coming into the business end of the season and we need to get the three points,” he said.
“Every week we need to keep improving and try and keep ourselves in the top six.”
Sydney overcame the Jets in their last meeting with a 2-1 win in Newcastle in December. However the Jets are coming off a 1-0 win in Brisbane last weekend and the Socceroo is aware Sydney need to put in a good performance.
“It always a tough competition against the Jets and we had a big game against them up there.
“This weekend it-s a Sunday afternoon game so it should be a great turn out from both sides and hopefully be a big match.”
