Sydney FC skipper Terry McFlynn says the focus of the players very quickly turned to game against Perth after the late loss to Brisbane.

The Glory are the visitors to Campbelltown Stadium on Wednesday night, as Sydney look to put the drama of two last minute goals in Brisbane behind them.

“Spirits were a little bit down in the dressing room after the game,” said the Sydney captain.

“We got back to the hotel, we talked about the game and the performance in particular was very pleasing.

“We knew we had a good opportunity to turn it around against Perth on Wednesday night, so we had to put it to bed very early and get focused.”
The midfield general believes the early chance to get three points in Campbelltown is a bonus.

“That-s one of the fantastic things about football – there-s always a game around the corner that you can rectify things that maybe went against you in a previous game.

“Obviously being Brett Emerton-s home town, we-re looking forward to getting out there and getting as many fans in as possible and getting behind Sydney FC.”
