Sydney FC are delighted to announce the re-signing of reigning E-League Champion Mark ‘FUTWIZ_Marko’ Brijeski for the E-League 2020 season.

Brijeski will again compete in the PlayStation format of the competition, alongside an Xbox competitor, as the Sky Blues look to secure a historic treble of E-League Championships after claiming the title in 2018 and 2019.

Brijeski is a highly-talented FIFA player and is a current professional with eSports team ‘FUTWIZ’, with the Sky Blue star currently ranked second in the Rest of the World region on FIFA 20 for December.

The reigning Champion said he was thrilled to be back for 2020.

“I’m looking forward to another successful E-League season in Sky Blue,” Brijeski said.

“The last two seasons have been great, we’ve set the benchmark in the competition and I’m confident of that continuing this year.

“I’m feeling good and coming off the back of an entire month undefeated, with 120 wins and zero losses, I believe I’m definitely in form.”

The eSports player from Penrith was also the only Australian PlayStation player to qualify for the FIFA eWorld Cup 2019 Finals Series, that saw him finish in the top 10 in the world, while also representing Australia in the country’s first appearance at the FIFA eNations Cup in London.

The winner of the E-League will qualify for the EA SPORTS FIFA 20 Global Series Playoffs and will have a chance to become FIFA eWorld Cup Champion at the FIFA eWorld Cup 2020. On top of this, two competitors will earn the right to represent Australia at the FIFA eNations Cup 2020.
