After joining the Sky Blues in January 2014, Milos Dimitrijevic has moved in leaps and bounds to emerge as one of the stand out members of Head Coach Graham Arnold’s squad this season.

Dimitrijevic has started 23 games this season, and played every minute of every one, and the Serbian who holds one of the highest passing accuracies in the league (87.5%) said he’s enjoying his football following a full pre-season with the squad.

“I enjoying my football very much,” he said.

“I think we play very good and we play to win the league and Grand Final and I’m enjoying this challenge very much.

“It’s a big difference from last year,” he continued.

“This year I had all the preseason work and since the beginning I’ve trained with the team so my fitness is much much better and I’m healthy so I can play every game and I have very good players around me.”

A title winner with Red Star Belgrade in Serbia, Dimitrijevic believes the Sky Blues currently possess enough quality to win the league with only three games remaining in the regular season, starting with Perth Glory on Friday (kick off 7:40pm AEDT).

“I’m sure we have the team [to win the league],” he said.

“We have enough quality to win something and that’s why we work every day very hard.

“It would mean a lot [to win]. When you win trophies it’s very important for you but also for the club and you leave your name in the history of the club.

“The most important thing in the end is to win titles and I hope this year we will win something,” he continued.

“[Friday] will be a very difficult game like every week but we all believe in our quality and we go to Perth to win and take three points.”
