Sydney FC’s School Holiday Clinics are back for the Easter break with the Sky Blues set to host a massive six clinics over the two weeks as we welcome two new venues plus the return of an old favourite.
Coupled with the ever popular Macquarie University, Cranbrook and Campbell Park Clinics, Marco Reserve, Panania and Waverley Fields, Queens Park will both play host to children for the first time with SHORE also returning for another session following their Christmas hiatus as the clinics return back and bigger than ever.
Catering for all positions, there will also be an exclusive goalkeepers session held between 1:30pm and 3pm on each day of the Macquarie University Clinic.
In a sign of growing prominence, Sydney’s biggest Hyundai A-League club will branch out west into the Bankstown District Amateur Football Association with the two time Hyundai A-League Champions holding a clinic at Marco Reserve, Panania
Former Socceroo and Sydney FC Community Football Officer Paul Reid, who oversees the clinics, said he’s looking forward to the upcoming bumper football school holidays.
“I’m really looking forward to the Easter break. It’s going to be a huge festival of football over the two weeks,” Reid said.
“We had record numbers over Christmas and New Year and I’m looking forward to not only welcoming back a host of familiar faces, but some new faces as well.
“We’ve branched out west this year as our clinics continue to grow in popularity. We’re not defined by a geographical name so we feel it’s only right to bring football clinics to the whole of Sydney and I can’t wait to get started.”
Inclusions for the April clinics encompass a training shirt, shorts and socks, ball, opportunity to meet some of the Sydney FC A-League players, plus a FREE Junior Blues Membership for the 2015/16 Hyundai A-League season.
Participants at the Macquarie University Clinic will receive an exclusive signing session with the entire Hyundai A-League squad while the other clinics will receive a special visit from a number of players from the team as well.
