Christopher Naumoff is a product of the Sutherland Sharks and is another young Sydney FC midfielder with a big future. Chris won the Minor Premiers and Championship with Sutherland’s under 20’s in 2012 and was the 2012 Premier League 20’s Player of the Year. He was a member of the Sydney FC youth squad that finished runners up in the international youth tournament, the Thanhnien Newspaper Cup in Vietnam in October 2013. The 2013/14 season was a breakthrough season for Naumoff as he made his debut off the bench in round one before making his starting debut in round six against Melbourne Heart. In total Naumoff played 10 times for the Sky Blues in his first senior season. Following his breakout season Naumoff carried his form over to the 2014/15 season where he made a total of 24 appearances, scoring one goal, as the Sky Blues surged to the Hyundai A-League 2015 Grand Final.
