Brosque doesn’t fear God’s second coming

Saturday-s match between Sydney FC and North Queensland Fury marks the return of Robbie Fowler to the Sydney Football Stadium.

Fowler-s stunning goal was the difference between the two teams in Round 6 but Sydney-s Alex Brosque doesn-t fear the player the fans call “God”.

“We are not taking this game any differently,” said Brosque after the Sky Blues midweek training.

“Robbie Fowler is a great goal scorer and he has been doing very well up there, so he is someone that defensively we are going to focus on a bit more than other forwards”.

The Sky Blues own form has been mixed of late but Brosque feels his team is still well placed with eleven rounds of the Hyundai A-League to go.

“Even with three losses in a row, we are still second” Said Brosque. “(Lavicka wants to) get us to go back to doing the things we were doing when we were winning.”
