While only six weeks into his Hyundai A-League career, Filip Holosko believes the Sky Blues clash against Melbourne Victory at Allianz Stadium on Saturday is the biggest clash in the country.

Holosko has set his sights firmly on attaining the three points in the Big Blue saying he doesn’t feel any pressure as he talked up the Sky Blues on-pitch qualities ahead of the 35th meeting between the Sky Blues and Victorians.

“This match is the biggest in the country, and [between] the biggest two teams in the country,” Holosko said.

“I hope tomorrow we show our fans a good performance and take three points. It’s only six weeks but I hope we win. I’m excited for tomorrow.

“We have respect for Melbourne Victory, they won everything last year, I know they have good quality but I believe we have better quality and I hope we show it tomorrow.

“It’s only six weeks, so we go step by step to our dream. It’s a normal game for us tomorrow but if we beat them then our confidence will be better.

“I don’t feel pressure,” he continued.

“I played in Turkey before and there was the same pressure as here, pressure is only put on by the media.”

The Slovakian International praised the quality of the Hyundai A-League as he said he consulted with former Sydney FC Head Coach Vitezslav Lavicka ahead of his move to Australia.

“I think the A-League has good quality and I’m very excited about the A-League,” Holosko said.

“The A-League is a physical league and also lots of pressing on the ball. I’m excited about the quality, every year it grows.

“When I spoke before with [Vitezslav] Lavicka he told me the league was getting better and better every year.

“I think maybe physically and running it is harder here in Australia than Turkey. I feel 100% [and] I hope we will be successful this year.”
