Sydney FC's Terry Antonis has been voted as the NAB Young Player of the Month for October after impressing so far this Hyundai A-League season for the Sky Blues.
Football Federation Australia (FFA) and NAB, together with Sydney FC, announced Terry Antonis as the October nominee for the NAB Young Footballer of the Year 2014/15 Award on Thursday.

Antonis was ecstatic to be nominated for the prestigious award.
“It’s a real honour to win the NAB Young Player Of The Month award for October,” said Antonis.
“I’m really enjoying being back and playing for such a great club, the team I grew up supporting and the atmosphere around the club is fantastic.
“I’ve got to thank my team mates for helping me win this award because they have been excellent so far this season and have given me so much great support.”
This is the second time that Terry Antonis has been nominated for the NAB Young Footballer of the Year Award having also been nominated in March this year for the 2013/14 edition.
Terry is in line for the title of NAB Young Footballer of the Year Award 2014/15 which will be announced at the Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League 2014/15 Awards Night on Monday 11 May.
Mr Paul Juergens, Chair of the NSW/ACT State Leadership Council & NSW Retail GM said “NAB is delighted to see the NAB Young Footballer of the Year Award unearth the future stars of the game”.
“We congratulate Terry Antonis on his nomination and look forward to watching his growth and development on the football field in the coming years” said Mr Juergens.
“We are also pleased to recognise Terry‘s nominated junior club, St Christopher’s Football Club [Saints F.C.] Panania and hope that our support will help the club continue to develop the game at a local grassroots level."
NAB has generously donated a $1,500 equipment pack and $1,000 in a NAB Community Saver Account to Terry’s chosen junior club.
The overall winner of the NAB Young Footballer of the Year 2014/15 Award will receive a $10,000 personal investment portfolio, along with a NAB Private Client Manager to assist with a range of banking and financial services.
