Young Sydney FC midfielder Terry Antonis insists the Sky Blues are capable of coming away with three points this Saturday, as they prepare to face Western Sydney Wanderers at Parramatta Stadium.

The 19 year old says Sydney are up for the challenge and the Wanderers 10-game winning streak holds no fears.

“Every game we play in is going to be different,” he said

“We went to their ground and they came to ours [already this season] and both teams that were away won.

“This week it-s going to be a different ball game so we-ve got to be ready for the test.”

Antonis hails from Bankstown so he knows the importance of the game to the Sydney football community, especially with a minor Premiers crown at stake for Wanderers and a place in the Finals for FC.

“It-s going to be a big game, a big derby – we-ve got to go out there and get the 3 points because we want to stay in the top six.

“The last two weeks we-ve been playing very good so we-ve got to keep it consistent,” he continued.

“It-s going to be a great atmosphere and the players are going to be buzzing off it. We-ll have to wait and see who gets the bragging rights.”
