Sydney FC’s Scott Jamieson returns to former club Adelaide United for the first time on Saturday night but says he won’t be doing them any favours. He also reveals what he thinks of Pascal Bosschaart’s haircut!

Sydney FC’s Scott Jamieson goes back to the Hindmarsh Stadium for the first time since leaving Adelaide to join Sydney last year, but is promising them no favours.

The full back had two years with The Reds before heading home and says he’s unsure what reception he’ll receive from the Adelaide fans.

“It’s pretty special for me going back to Hindmarsh. Now it’s a different club, new owners, new players so that kind of sentimental value is out.

“I’m looking forward to seeing the fans, I had a good relationship with them – they’ll probably boo me!

“I had two special years there but I’m wanting to get 3 points.”

He’ll once again line up alongside Sydney’s new Dutch signing Pascal Bosschaart in the defence and says he’s enjoying the experience.

“Yeah it’s very good, very good. He’s very composed on the ball, a good organiser and brings a lot of experience. It’s good to have somebody like that.”

However the 23 year old says he won’t be copying the centre half’s new mohican haircut.

“I’m saving myself for a better day to get something like that! He’s a very good looking man so he can pull it off.”
