11. Kofi Danning
Kofi Danning

A true star in the making, Danning is the perfect example of a “fans’ favourite”. Quick, strong and powerful on the ball it is hard to believe that Danning is still only 19 years of age. He signed a senior contract at the club at the end of the 2008/09 season after starring in the Sydney FC youth team. Although born in Ghana, Danning has made it clear that his loyalties lie with Australia and his excellent form was rewarded with a spot in the Qantas Young Socceroos squad for the 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup in Egypt. He bagged a super goal early in season 2009/10 but missed most of the year through a knee injury. Now back to 100% fitness, the youngster, who boasts a strong physique and speed to burn is on the path to stardom and under the guidance Vitezslav Lavicka, should enjoy a strong A-League campaign in 2010/11.
